Tour program

Day 1. Almaty
Arrival to Almaty. Your driver will be waiting at Almaty (ALA) airport to take you directly to your hotel in Almaty – a 30-minute drive. There are no activities planned for today.

Please keep in mind that hotel check-in time is typically after 2.00pm. Early check in is not guaranteed, but if you do arrive early luggage storage is available at the hotel.

Day 2. Hiking to Kok Zhailau
Today and after breakfast you will start your tour by driving to the Medeo ice rink (15 km) / excursion around Medeo. Start hiking, in 3 – 4 hours reaching Kok Zhailau. Lunch break (lunch boxes) surrounded by breathtaking views and alpine fresh air. After lunch, walking around and taking stunning photos then heading back and drive to hotel. Dinner at Local Restaurant / free time.

Day 3. Almaty
Today you will have Almaty City Tour (includes visit to the National Central Museum, Green Oriental Market, Panfilov Park with Russian Orthodox Cathedral). After City Tour your driver will drop you at the hotel. Free time.

Day 4. Hiking to Peak Furmanov
Today after breakfast we will continue our hiking trip to the beautiful Furmanov Peak. Starting point same as in the Day 1, but into different direction and with the stunning views en route. It's a 14 km walk to Peak Furmanov and back along some wonderful alpine scenery. Hike takes around 2 -3 hours, reaching Peak Furmanov. Lunch break (lunch boxes) next to beautiful waterfall with a spectacular view. After that, you will have time to take beautiful pictures and we heading back to Almaty city. Drop off to hotel. Free time.

Day 5. Hiking to Big Almaty Lake
Breakfast. Morning drive to the start point of our beautiful hike. This hiking tour is suitable for both beginners and experienced hikers. With our guide you will go to the Big Almaty Lake – one of the hallmarks of the city of Almaty. Then lunch break (lunch boxes) next to the view point of Big Almaty Lake. After some rest and taking photos, heading back to the hotel. Free time in the city, souvenir shopping.

Day 6. Departure
A transfer will be provided from your hotel to ALA Airport - a 30-minute drive. We wish you a safe homeward journey and hope to see you again in Kazakhstan soon.
